Product notices
What it's about
Every now and then, the patchio team reaches out directly in the app: new features, planned maintenance, or important changes. These product notices appear at the bell like your other notifications.
Why it's here
So you find out what's happening with patchio without having to check anywhere. But you decide for yourself whether you want to see them – except for the critical exceptions.
How it works
You can turn product notices off like any other topic, in your profile under “Notifications”. There's one exception: notices marked “Important” still appear in the app. These are rare, critical messages – an urgent security notice, say – that we don't want to withhold from you.
In practice
Say you've turned off product notices because the feature newsletter is enough for you. When patchio announces short-notice maintenance as “Important”, you still see it at the bell – and know what's going on.
