This notice applies to consumers who take out a paid patchio subscription.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was formed, i.e. from the day you placed your order for the paid patchio subscription with an obligation to pay.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, although this isn't mandatory.
The easiest way is to withdraw directly through our withdrawal button — with no sign-in required: withdraw here.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it's sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we have to repay you all payments we've received from you, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we'll use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees as a result of this repayment.
If you asked that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you're required to pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up until the point at which you notified us of your withdrawal from this contract, compared with the full scope of the contract (§357a(2) BGB).
Premature expiry of the right of withdrawal
patchio is a service. Your right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we've fully performed the service and only began performance after you
- expressly agreed that we could begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period, and
- confirmed your knowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once we've fully performed the contract.
We obtain both of these confirmations at checkout via two separate, not pre-ticked checkboxes (§356(4) BGB). As long as the service hasn't been fully performed, you can still withdraw within the withdrawal period; you then owe the proportionate amount for the time up to your withdrawal (see above).

Fast withdrawal without signing in
The fastest and safest way is our online withdrawal button: you give the email address of your subscription (or your name and an invoice number), and your withdrawal is received the moment you click “Withdraw contract”. You immediately see a confirmation with date and time to save, and we also confirm receipt by email (§356a BGB). This receipt is what counts for the deadline. So that nobody else can end your subscription, we only carry out the withdrawal in our billing (ending the subscription and the refund) once it is clear that it came from you: by clicking the link in the acknowledgement email or by replying from the email address stored with your subscription.
