What it's about

Your data is yours. patchio gives you the tools to export it, delete it or stay in control of it at any time – no data hunger, no tracking, hosted in the EU.

Why it's here

Family data is sensitive: calendars reveal routines, tasks reveal life circumstances, the emergency card holds health data. patchio is built on the idea that this data never becomes a product. No tracking cookies, no advertising, no profiling. Hosting exclusively in the EU with Supabase (Ireland). What you record is yours – and you can take it with you or delete it whenever you like.

How it works

Your account area gives you two central GDPR rights: data export (Art. 15) – you get a complete copy of your data as a ZIP archive, readable as JSON. And account deletion (Art. 17) – your account and everything attached to it is removed completely. During deletion, you're shown any shared content (such as events in shared households) so nothing gets lost that other family members still need. Both processes go through confirmation emails, so no one else can trigger them by accident or on purpose.

For your reports in the feedback area, we ask when you request deletion: should they be anonymised, or removed along with your account? Anonymising means the description and any replies stay, and only your account is separated from them – we can then keep working on open points, but we can no longer reach you. Deleting them removes reports and replies completely. If you choose nothing, they're anonymised. Attached screenshots are deleted either way – they often show your calendar or your contacts. You can change your choice at any point within the 30 days before it takes effect.

Want to know what patchio has stored about you? Start the data export, confirm by email, and download the ZIP. Inside: all your events, tasks, contacts, points entries – neatly structured. Decide later to stop using patchio? Deletion with double confirmation, and you're gone.
