Health: Journal
A few lines for yourself – how your day went, what you're grateful for, a thought about the day. The journal is the quiet counterpart to routines and medicines: no ticking off, no target, just a short pause to reflect.
What it's about
One entry per day, all of it optional: mood (five faces), optionally energy, up to three things you're grateful for, the highlight and the low point of the day, a changing prompt to think about, and free text. Fill in whatever suits you right now – nothing is required.
How it works
On Today, you tap your mood directly under “How was your day?”; for the full entry, open the journal. In the Journal tab, you'll see your streak (“days in a row”), a small mood history, and every entry so far. Use “Log another day” to catch up on a past day.
Strictly private
The journal is for you only – no exceptions. No admins, no guardians, nobody in the household can see it, and it can't be shared either. Unlike routines or medicines, there's deliberately no sharing option here: a diary is a diary.
Deleting an entry
Open the day – from the list in the Journal tab, or via “Log another day” – and tap “Delete entry” at the bottom left. patchio confirms with the date, then the entry is gone for good; this can't be undone. Your streak no longer counts that day afterwards, and it drops out of the mood history. Everything else – routines, medicines, readings – stays untouched.
Only you can delete it, just as only you can read it: not even an admin can get to your entries.
Good to know
There's no “right” or “wrong” way to journal – even one face a day is enough to build a feel for your mood over time. patchio isn't a medical product and doesn't replace therapy.
