Health: Insights
Logging only really motivates you once you see what comes of it. Insights shows your history in three views – as a calendar overview, as a trend analysis, and as a PDF report. If you also track health data for a child, switch the person at the top. Mood & journal are strictly private and only appear in your own insights.
Overview – your calendar
The Overview tab shows day by day what happened:
- On your phone, you see a week (use the arrows to page back week by week).
- On a computer, you see the whole month (page back month by month with the arrows).
In it: your mood as daily faces, your journal as a green tick for every day with an entry (however brief – as long as you noted something), every medicine as a dose grid (✓ confirmed · ○ open · dashed = planned · dot = not planned), and the medication plan with frequency and supply. Your readings (weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature…) appear as a history – each with its own period (week/month/year), because weight and co. are more interesting over months than over a week.
Targets
For every reading's history, you can set a target via the target icon (e.g. a target weight of 90 kg). It appears as a dashed line in the history and in the PDF report – just for orientation, without a medical judgement.
List – the trend analysis
The List tab bundles the clever trends: your routines' completion rate and streaks, your sport record, your mood history with average mood per weekday and a gentle observation, the dose rate per medicine, and the trend of your readings. At the top, you choose the period (4 weeks, 3 months, 6 months) for every section at once.
Export – PDF report
The Export tab opens a health report for a given month (which you set in the Overview): medication plan, dose history, reading statistics (the highest, average and lowest value for each reading) and mood distribution. Use “Print” to save it as a PDF in the print dialogue – handy for a visit to the doctor.
Catching up – any day
Catch up on forgotten days at any time: routines, sport, medicines and mood via the day switch on “Today” (jump straight to a date with the calendar icon); log readings with any date in the “Add reading” dialogue.
Only trends – nothing medical
patchio shows you numbers and patterns, but doesn't make any medical assessment and gives no diagnosis. The mood observation is explicitly just an observation, not a proven link. For health questions, your doctor remains the right place to ask.
