Rotation
Rotation: Wer ist diese Woche dran?

What it's about
Rotation is the mode for “whoever's next in line” – a recurring task moves to the next person each time it's ticked off.
Why it's here
“Whose turn is it this week?” is the classic question for tasks that should rotate – taking the bins out, cleaning the kitchen, hanging up the washing. If everyone has to work out whose turn it is themselves, you get arguments and forgotten duties. Rotation settles that automatically and fairly.
How it works
When creating the task, you choose the “Rotation” mode and set the order of the people involved (e.g. parent → parent → child). The task is always assigned to exactly one person – whoever's turn it currently is. Once it's ticked off (and confirmed by a parent, if needed), the next occurrence automatically moves to the next person in the pool. You can “skip” someone if they're ill or away.
In practice
“Take the bins out” rotates weekly between the three of you. It's your turn this week, and you tick it off on Thursday. Next week's task automatically goes to the next person in the pool – no discussion needed.
