Get your timetable from WebUntis, Schulmanager or IServ
Get dates from the school portal
If the school uses a portal like WebUntis, Schulmanager Online or IServ, you can pull the dates from it into the family calendar instead of typing them in. You'll find the assistant in the Dates tab, under “Get dates from the school portal”.
The assistant first asks which portal the school uses, then shows you step by step how to get your personal subscription link. You paste this link in, patchio fetches the calendar and shows you a preview before anything is added.
How to get the subscription link
- WebUntis – sign in on a computer in your browser (the app doesn't have the link). Open “My timetable”, then via the three-dot menu “Manage iCal subscription” and “Publish calendar”. Copy the link ending in
.ics. - Schulmanager Online – sign in in your browser, open the “Calendar” section, choose “Subscribe to calendar” at the top right and copy the address shown.
- IServ – sign in in your browser, open “Calendar” on the left, go to “Manage calendars” and, for the class or school calendar, to “Share” or “Export”, and copy the iCal/ICS link.
The link is personal – don't pass it on. patchio only stores it on this school profile, so you can fetch it again later with “Refresh”. patchio never asks on its own; you fetch new dates whenever you want to.
A word of caution with WebUntis
Some WebUntis subscriptions include every single lesson. Without a warning, hundreds of “Maths” blocks would land in the family calendar. That's why the preview shows you how many dates are coming – if it's hundreds, better cancel. The timetable belongs in the timetable, not in the calendar.
If something doesn't work
If you paste in an address that isn't a calendar (say, the one from the address bar instead of the subscription link), patchio tells you so in plain language, and what to do about it. If the link asks for a sign-in, you need your own subscription link with a token from the portal – not the normal sign-in address.
