Quick add
What it's about
The dashboard module Quick add puts three buttons right on your start page, letting you log something in one step – without switching to the relevant area first.
- Event: title and date (time optional – without a time, the event is all-day). Lands in the family calendar.
- Expense: amount and a short description. Recorded as your own expense (no split). Add a split, category or receipt later, if you need to, under Finances → Expenses. The button only appears if the finance module is active.
- Fuel: a fuel receipt in seconds – amount (litres or kWh), odometer reading and price. Date is today, full tank is pre-selected. The entry lands on the vehicle under “Fuel & charging” and feeds into consumption and the cost overview. Which car is meant, each person sets for themselves (at the top of the fuel field) – so Dad has car A and Mum has car B. On request, a tick adds the receipt as an expense straight away. The button only appears if the vehicle module is active and you're allowed to manage vehicles.
- Shopping: an entry for the shopping list. It lands in the shopping view without a fixed list; the field stays open so you can type several things quickly, one after another.
Order & visibility
You can show or hide dashboard modules in your profile, and change their order. Quick add sits at the top by default.
