Punktestand, Statistik und Bonus

What it's about

The points statistics show where your child's points come from – and the bonus button lets you, as a parent, hand out extra points at any time.

Why it's here

Points shouldn't just count, they should tell a story. Which tasks contribute the most? Which week was the child especially hard-working? And sometimes a child earns points for something that wasn't on the task list – an unplanned visit to grandma, mediating a squabble between siblings. That's what the bonus button is for. From a privacy point of view, this matters: every bonus entry is logged with a timestamp and reason in the audit log, so everything stays traceable.

How it works

On the points page, you see the current points balance per child and statistics with a choice of time range (week, month, last month, or all time). You see the top tasks (what earns the most points) and the history. The bonus button lets you, as a parent, hand out extra points – you enter a number and, optionally, a reason. The entry shows up in the points balance straight away and is logged in the audit log.

In practice

You see in the weekly statistics that your child has collected 78 points, most of them from “Emptying the dishwasher”. On Saturday, they helped grandma with her shopping – you hand out 15 bonus points with the note “Helped grandma”. The entry sits cleanly in the audit log.
